Jennifer Dore, MD
Jennifer Dore, MD is a board certified psychiatrist specializing in psychodynamic psychotherapy and medication management for conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD and addiction. She currently serves on the board of the Ketamine Research Foundation. Dr. Dore earned her MD from New York Medical College in 2007, with the highest academic distinction, Alpha Omega Alpha and holds a B.A. from Amherst College where she majored in English Literature. Upon graduating, Dr. Dore trained for three years as a surgical resident at Weill Cornell/NY Presbyterian Hospital. It was while training as a surgeon, specifically time covering the Intensive Care Unit, that Dr. Dore discovered a deep concern and interest in the complexity of human suffering and how difficult it is for patients and their families to make life critical medical decisions.
Dr. Dore's training subsequently took her to Northern California where she joined the Stanford Department of Psychiatry as a resident physician. While at Stanford, Dr. Dore's focus included the treatment of bipolar disorder, intensive individual psychotherapy, family and couples therapy, the treatment of addiction and medical decision making. Dr. Dore's research in the area of bipolar disorder earned her recognition from the American Psychiatric Association during their 2013 Annual Meeting in San Francisco. Dr. Dore was also elected Chief Resident for her contributions as a leader and innovator.

Shannon Dwyer, NP
Shannon Dwyer is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20-years experience treating mental illness. Her undergraduate studies in environmental studies at UC Santa Cruz led to studies at Samuel Merritt University and St. Mary’s College, where she obtained her nursing degree and public health nurse certification. After completing her master’s degree, she joined Helios and trained extensively with the pre-eminent leaders in the field of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), recently co-authoring the largest study to date on the effectiveness of this treatment.
In addition to ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, Shannon specializes in family systems and culturally sensitive therapeutic modalities and takes a holistic approach to mental health treatment. Psychotherapy, medication management and, when indicated, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy are utilized for the treatment of treatment of depression, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, anxiety and developmental trauma. Shannon treats adolescents and adults across the lifespan.
Meredith Bergman, MD
Meredith Bergman, MD is a board certified psychiatrist offering an integrative and dynamic approach to mental health treatment utilizing functional medicine, emerging technologies, psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Dr. Bergman graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College, received a MSc in Integrative Bioscience at Oxford University and a BS in Mathematics from New York University. Dr. Bergman also studied Eastern medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and psychodynamic psychotherapy through the Psychoanalytic Association of New York and the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. She is published in the areas of psychosomatic medicine, psychotherapy and integrative mental health.
Prior to joining Helios Wellness, Dr. Bergman founded Mindful Psychiatry, a holistic psychiatry practice based in New York City. She was formerly a psychiatrist at the New York University Medical Student Health Service, where she treated fellow physicians and psychiatrists. It was at Bellevue, treating the most acute cases of mental illness and addiction, that Dr. Bergman was inspired to incorporate mind-body practices for long term healing and recovery.
In partnership with each patient, Dr. Bergman curates a personalized, evidence-based and interdisciplinary treatment protocol, making decisions together with intention and compassion.
Marci Gleicher, NP
Marci Gleicher, NP is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner providing mental healthcare in a manner that acknowledges the interdependence of one's biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. She has considerable experience working with diverse populations, as a psychiatric nurse practitioner for ten years and as a labor and delivery and postpartum registered nurse prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. Marci received a Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Marci’s practice has focused on treatment-resistant depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD and schizophrenia. She is also skilled at treating opiate use disorder, managing Medication Assisted Treatment such as Suboxone tapers and maintenance. Marci has extensive experience working with LGBTQ individuals, couples and families. She is well-versed in addressing mental health concerns of women, including during and after pregnancy.
Marci’s goal is to assist people in finding stability, purpose and connection, while discovering the root causes of physical and mental pain. Through individual and couples therapy, she combines a range of therapeutic modalities, such as psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, existential, and dialectical behavior therapy. Marci’s approach to healing is reflected in her professional and compassionate manner, as well as her calm and supportive presence.
Mark Shortt, ND
Dr. Mark Shortt received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. He has additional certifications in biofeedback, advanced physical medicine, ketamine assisted psychotherapy and neural injection therapy. He employs a blend of naturopathic and conventional medicine to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care, specializing in pain management and holistic approaches to mental and emotional health.
Dr. Shortt utilizes nutrition, therapeutic supplementation, botanical medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, biofeedback, neurofeedback, injection therapies, and lifestyle counseling to facilitate the body's innate healing processes. His approach centers around prevention, identifying and removing the root causes of illness, and addressing individual needs to determine a plan for optimal health and wellness.
Dr. Shortt is licensed as a Naturopathic Physician in California and Washington states, and is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the California Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is accredited by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance.
Diandra Hilton, Medical Office Manager
Diandra Hilton is an advanced doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University (PAU), where she has completed emphases in Clinical Neuropsychology, Pediatric Behavioral Health Care, and Clinical Neuroscience in Women’s Health through Stanford Medicine’s Center for Neuroscience. Diandra has an interest in integrated health and cognitive rehabilitation and she is passionate about creating resilience in children as a form of trauma prevention.
